To the caregiver during COVID-19,
There are endless tasks that consume your daily routine at home with your family. You are strong, resilient, courageous and resourceful. You reach out for help and guidance during times of need. You place the needs of your loved one above your own. You are learning to care for yourself. The days may be long, but you always persevere. You may be experiencing sleepless nights, unrelenting anxiety and uncertainty regarding caring for someone with dementia and Alzheimer’s during these difficult days. To those that have doubts, we can see your confidence within. To those that do not feel heard, we are here to listen. To those that do not know where to start, we can begin to walk the journey together.

he Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center is a local United Way organization which provides assistance and support to persons with Alzheimer's and related dementia and their caregivers. The Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center is operated with a staff of five which includes the Executive Director, Operations Manager, two Masters Level Social Workers and a Social Services Specialist. The Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center is also assisted by a host of volunteers who make it possible to provide services to the local residents affected by Alzheimer's disease. The Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center offers assistance through information and referral, counseling, health education, and crisis intervention.

The mission of the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center is to provide educational, informational, and supportive resources for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and their caregivers.
